Write a bio that fits
Your bio is the first thing people read after your name and photo, and it has 150 characters to tell them why to follow. The generator writes five drafts in the tone you pick, each within the limit, so you can compare angles instead of cutting a long draft down word by word. Every draft shows its length, counted like our character counter.
If the AI part is switched off, the bio formula and the eight templates on this page work the same way. Fill in the brackets with your own details and you have a first draft in a minute.
Tips for a better Instagram bio
- Lead with what you do. People decide in a second, so the first words should answer "what is this account?"
- Write for one audience. "For new runners" is clearer than "for everyone who loves sport".
- Use line breaks. Two or three short lines are easier to read on a phone than one long sentence.
- Point to one link. Say what people get from it, such as a booking page, a shop or the latest video.
- Keep it true. Only mention numbers, awards or results you can show.
From bio to a full profile plan
A clear bio brings people to your profile; regular posts keep them there. In PostBoost you can write captions with AI, plan them on one calendar, and publish to Instagram and your other networks.
