Agents that run on their own schedule

Two built-in agents check your workspace in the background. The pre-publish checker looks at the posts due in the next 24 hours (up to a week if you set it) and proposes holding a post or fixing a caption. The failed-post fixer looks at failures and proposes a reconnect or a retry. Nothing changes until a person approves the proposal.

Agents and MCP in one paragraph

PostBoost runs an MCP server, so AI clients like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can work with your social posts. The agent uses the same workspace, calendar and rules as your team: new posts are drafts unless it schedules them, and guardrails refuse duplicates and posts over daily caps. Two built-in agents check scheduled and failed posts and propose fixes that a person approves. MCP is included on every plan.

Which AI clients work?

Any client that supports remote MCP servers. Setup steps for Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf are on the setup page.

Can my agent publish without asking me?

New posts are drafts unless your agent schedules them, and your client can ask you before any tool that changes something. Tell your agent to keep everything as drafts and your team can review them in the calendar.

Do the built-in agents use AI credits?

The failed-post fixer uses no AI. The pre-publish checker uses 1 AI text credit per post only when its AI review is switched on.
