## Good to know

- Instagram only lets apps publish to professional accounts (Business or Creator).
- Every post needs at least one photo or video.
- First comments are not available yet: Meta has to approve the comment permission for our app.
- Accounts connected with Instagram login cannot delete published posts from PostBoost. Accounts connected through Facebook can.

## Questions about Instagram

### Do I need an Instagram business account?

You need a professional account, Business or Creator, because Instagram only allows publishing to those. With Instagram login no Facebook Page is needed. With Facebook login the account must be linked to a Facebook Page.

### How many hashtags can I use?

5 per post. PostBoost checks the caption before it goes out.

### Can I add a first comment?

Not on Instagram yet. Meta has to approve the comment permission for our app first. The post itself publishes normally.

### Can I connect Instagram on the Free plan?

Yes. Every plan can connect Instagram. The Free plan includes 3 social accounts and 3 scheduled posts. Paid plans start at $29 a month with a 14-day free trial.

### Can my AI agent post to Instagram?
