# Schedule posts to a Discord channel.

- **Message**: Up to 2,000 characters with up to 10 attachments.

## Connect Discord in three steps

1. **Create a webhook**: In Discord open the channel's settings, then Integrations, Webhooks, New Webhook.
2. **Copy the URL**: Copy Webhook URL. The webhook's name and avatar are the author of every post.
3. **Connect**: In PostBoost choose Connect account, then Discord, and paste the URL.

## Post to Discord from your AI agent or your code

Ask your agent: "Post this update to our Discord announcements channel at 16:00." (MCP tools: `create-post`, `schedule-post`). Connecting needs a webhook URL, so do it in the dashboard or with the API (connectChannel). Do not paste webhook URLs into a chat.

- Posts can be deleted from PostBoost.
- No analytics or comments for Discord.

The webhook's name and avatar. Change them in Discord's webhook settings.
