# Turn feeds into drafts and bring your best posts back.

Add an RSS feed and new articles become drafts or queued posts. Set a recycling rule and your best posts come back on a schedule. You decide what goes out.

## What you get

- **RSS to posts**: New items from a feed become drafts, queued posts or posts waiting for approval. Nothing is published the moment it arrives.
- **Webhooks for n8n, Zapier and Make**: Start your own workflows when a post publishes or fails.
- **Recycling rules**: Repost one evergreen post, or rotate through every post with a tag, every 1 to 365 days.
- **Built-in limits**: Feeds create at most 20 posts per workspace per day, and recycling skips X accounts.

## Everything in Automations

- RSS and Atom feeds checked every 30 minutes
- New items as drafts, queued posts or posts waiting for approval
- At most 20 posts per workspace per day
- Recycle one evergreen post or every post with a tag
- Every 1 to 365 days
- X accounts skipped by recycling
- Webhooks for n8n, Zapier, Make or your own code

## How it works

1. **Add a feed or pick a post**: Any RSS or Atom feed, or one evergreen post or tag.
2. **Choose drafts, queue or approval**: Decide what happens to each new item.
3. **Review in the calendar**: Every new post shows up next to the rest of your plan.

## Do it from the dashboard, your agent or your code

- Dashboard: RSS feeds and recycling rules are under Tools, Automations.
- Ask your agent: "Add our blog's RSS feed and turn new articles into drafts for LinkedIn." (MCP tools: `add-rss-feed`, `list-automations`)
- API: `createRssFeed` (https://postboost.co/docs/api/create-rss-feed/)

```bash
curl -X POST https://postboost.co/app/api/{workspaceUuid}/rss-feeds \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"url": "https://blog.example.com/feed", "name": "Company blog", "account_ids": [12, 14], "mode": "draft"}'
```

## Automations in one paragraph

PostBoost automations turn RSS and Atom feeds into drafts, queued posts or posts waiting for approval, and recycling rules bring evergreen posts back every 1 to 365 days. Feeds are checked every 30 minutes and never publish on arrival. Webhooks connect PostBoost to n8n, Zapier, Make or your own code.

```text
rss: createRssFeed (mode: draft | queue | needs_approval)
recycling: createRecyclingRule (every 1-365 days, X skipped)
webhooks: createWebhookSubscription
mcp_tools: list-automations, add-rss-feed, create-recycling-rule
docs: https://postboost.co/docs/automations/ , https://postboost.co/docs/webhooks/
```

## FAQ

### Will an RSS feed post without me?

Only if you choose the queue mode. By default new items become drafts, and you can also send them for approval.

### Why are X accounts skipped when recycling?

Recycling rules skip X accounts. Schedule X posts by hand.

### Do you have Zapier and Make apps?

Not in their directories yet: both apps are built and waiting for review. Until then, call the REST API from Webhooks by Zapier or Make's HTTP module, or use webhooks and the n8n node.
